Background of the Study
Mobile advertising has become an essential marketing tool for small businesses, enabling them to reach a broader audience and enhance visibility. Through platforms like social media, search engines, and mobile applications, businesses can effectively engage with customers, drive traffic, and boost sales (Ogundele & Okoye, 2023).

Online vendors in Kebbi State rely heavily on mobile advertising to promote their products and services. However, the effectiveness of mobile advertising strategies depends on factors such as targeting, content quality, and advertising budgets. Investigating the role of mobile advertising can provide insights into how small businesses can improve visibility and competitiveness (Bello & Musa, 2024).

Statement of the Problem
Despite the growing popularity of mobile advertising, many online vendors in Kebbi State struggle to achieve desired outcomes due to inadequate strategies, limited budgets, and low digital literacy. These challenges hinder their ability to optimize mobile advertising for maximum visibility. Furthermore, there is limited research on the specific impact of mobile advertising on small business visibility in Kebbi State (Abubakar & Lawal, 2023).

Objectives of the Study

  1. To analyze the role of mobile advertising in enhancing the visibility of online vendors in Kebbi State.

  2. To identify challenges faced by online vendors in using mobile advertising.

  3. To recommend strategies for improving mobile advertising effectiveness.

Research Questions

  1. What role does mobile advertising play in enhancing the visibility of online vendors in Kebbi State?

  2. What challenges do online vendors face in using mobile advertising?

  3. What strategies can improve the effectiveness of mobile advertising for small businesses?

Research Hypotheses

  1. Mobile advertising does not significantly enhance the visibility of online vendors in Kebbi State.

  2. Online vendors do not face significant challenges in using mobile advertising.

  3. Proposed strategies do not significantly improve mobile advertising effectiveness.

Scope and Limitations of the Study
The study focuses on online vendors in Kebbi State, examining the role of mobile advertising in improving visibility. Limitations include variations in vendor resources and the rapidly changing nature of digital advertising.
